Draft for legal review. This page has not yet been reviewed by counsel and is kept out of search engines until it has. It describes our current practices in plain language.
Privacy notice
What this website collects about you, why, how long we keep it, and how to see, correct or delete it. Written in plain language.
Draft last updated 7 October 2026
Who we are
This website is run by Acres4u Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“rivonOS”, “we”, “us”). For anything in this notice, write to privacy@rivonos.com.
We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 in how we describe and handle your data. This notice explains our practices; it is not a statement of legal compliance.
What this notice covers
This notice covers personal data collected through this website, www.rivonos.com, and the emails we exchange with you as a result. It does not cover the data our customers keep in the rivonOS product. That data belongs to each customer and is handled under their contract with us; see Security for how it is protected.
What we collect
When you book a walkthrough
Bookings are made through Calendly, our scheduling provider. When you book, Calendly collects the details its booking form asks for, such as your name, email address and any answers you give, together with the time you choose, and shares them with us.
- The campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source), passed to the booking so we know which page or campaign brought you.
- Calendly may set its own cookies to run the booking calendar. Its use of your data is described in Calendly's privacy notice.
When you email us
Your email address, your name and whatever you choose to write.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it.
Why we use it
- To arrange your walkthrough, prepare for it with the right people, and follow up afterwards. This is the purpose you give us the data for.
- To reply to your emails and questions.
- To send you occasional emails about guides and research, only if you ask us to.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to us, using counts rather than profiles of individuals.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Analytics and cookies
We measure visits with cookieless analytics. It counts page views, referring sites and campaigns without setting cookies and without identifiers that follow you across websites.
If we ever add a tool that does set such identifiers, for example an advertising pixel or an embedded video player, it will load only after you agree, and you will be able to refuse as easily as you accept.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with service providers that help us run this website and our email, and only for the purposes above:
- Amazon Web Services, which hosts our systems in Mumbai, India, and sends our email.
- Calendly, which runs our booking calendar. Calendly may store and process booking details outside India.
- Other providers we name here before we start using them.
We may also disclose data where Indian law requires it.
How long we keep it
- If you book a walkthrough and we do not go on to work together, we delete or anonymise your details 24 months after your last contact with us.
- If your company becomes a customer, the contract decides how long we keep business contact details.
- Your marketing preference is kept until you withdraw it, so that we can respect it.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it,
- correct, complete or update it,
- erase it, where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for or the law does not require us to keep it,
- handle a grievance about how we use it, and
- let someone you nominate exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot do so yourself.
Write to privacy@rivonos.com from the email address you gave us, or tell us how to confirm it is you. We answer within the period the DPDP Rules allow, which is at most 90 days, and usually much sooner.
Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or write to privacy@rivonos.com. We then stop the processing you withdrew consent for. Withdrawing does not affect what we did lawfully before, and if you withdraw consent for us to contact you about a walkthrough, we cannot arrange one.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, contact our grievance officer first through the grievance page. If we do not resolve your complaint, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Keeping it safe
We store website enquiries with our service providers in India, limit access to the people who need it, and encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you without delay, in plain language, as the DPDP Rules require.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change needs your consent, we will ask for it first.
This website is meant for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.
